As the co-chair of the Student Assistance Program (SAP), I wanted to make sure that I shared all the information about it here!
SAP is a state mandated program "funnel" system to help catch all students who are struggling academically, behaviorally or experiencing any mental health or drug and alcohol issues. The SAP program helps with the smallest/ lowest level interventions to the major higher needs. It is not a "one size fits all approach." Our trained SAP team works with other staff members and parent/ guardians for the best communicated information and options. Communication is one of the most important ways to help every student.
