Whooooo is the School Counselor?!

I have been so excited to welcome all our students back to school this week! The energy is high, the smiles and hugs are endless and there is an infinite supply of pencils! ;)

As a school counselor and as part of my school counseling program, it is SO important for the students to know who I am, what I do, and how I can help them!

I have been partnering up with our Character Education teacher, Mrs. Rachael and going into each classroom to do a WHOOOO is the School Counselor/ Introduction lesson.

I have been reviewing how students can find me if they need me, what services I provide and all the fun I can't wait to have with them this year!

I also review I-messages for Conflict Resolution where I get loud to demonstrate behaviors (this usually gets a lot of shocked reactions and laughs)

I love to be honest, goofy and fun with the kids while building a great rapport with them!
